Teaching
My teaching is based upon the Taubman Approach. The Taubman Approach is a ground breaking analysis of the mostly invisible movements that underlie a virtuoso technique. This approach enables pianists to play without injury or fatigue, or if they have already experienced these symptoms, to overcome them.
I enjoy teaching students of all ages and levels and The Taubman Approach works beautifully with all ages and levels as well. Please feel free to contact me if you have an interest in studying with a teacher who has been trained in this truly revolutionary approach to piano playing.
In addition to private instruction, I also offer lecture/demonstrations on The Taubman Approach. Students and teachers attending the lecture/demonstrations will receive an explanation of the fundamental principles of The Taubman Approach as well as its application to a wide variety of passages drawn from the piano literature.
